This coffee is from the Githongo wet mill and is a Peaberry, here the red, ripe cherries are handpicked and delivered to the wet mill the same day as being harvested. Once the cherries have been pulped, the parchment is then fermented, washed and sun dried. The coffee is grown in red fertile volcanic soil with patches of loam and black cotton soil. Loam soil is composed of sand and silt with small patches of clay, usually with 40%-40%-20% concentration.
